It is the only Urban Indian Health Care facility in Kern County. BAIHP serves a client population representative of over 220 tribes across the nation, who currently reside in Kern County.

Our People

BAIHP is a culture-based health access and advocacy program designed to enhance the health and wellbeing of the urban American Indian and Alaska Native (AIAN) peoples in Kern County.

Quality Care

BAIHP provides medical case management, public health nursing services, mental health counseling, substance abuse counseling, transportation assistance, and referrals and payment assistance for medical, dental, and vision care needs.
